Russian serial killer posed as social worker
Russian serial killer Irina Gaidamachuk posed as a social worker to rob and murder more than a dozen elderly victims, according to this article in the Daily Mail.
Gaidamachuk gained entry into their homes by claiming she was a social worker, the article said. Gaidamachuk, who is a mother of two and an alcoholic, said she robbed victims to get money to buy vodka.
“I did it for money. I just wanted to be a normal mum, but I had a craving for drink,” she said. “My husband Yury wouldn’t give me money for vodka.”
