NASW’s Tracy Whitaker Takes Part in Online Chat with Newscaster Jane Pauley
Tracy Whitaker, DSW, ACSW, director of the National Association of Social Workers’ Center for Workforce Studies, took part in an interactive online chat with veteran newscaster Jane Pauley on Jan. 11.
The online chat on an AARP Web site (www.AARP.org/Jane) was a discussion of social work as a career and a way to give back to society for people aged 50 and above.
Pauley is host of AARP’s “Life is Calling” segment, which airs monthly on NBC’s Today Show. Youth counselor Sylvia Abrego-Araiza also participated.
