Penn Newspaper Spotlights Social Worker Anita Guzek
Cheers to the Scranton Times Tribune for this profile of Pennsylvania social worker Anita Guzek.
Guzek, who is a National Association of Social Workers member, is a very committed social worker. She is bereavement coordinator at Compassionate Care Hospice, created public support groups for the grieving, is a Boy Scout mentor, and also helps raise money for a variety of causes, among other things.
“I think it was always in me; kind of inborn,” she said of her social work career. “I always felt that I had some gifts, they’re God-given gifts. You’re an instrument, and I believe that.”
