Attention school social workers, educators and school administrators! “Confessions of a Social Bully,” a 15-minute documentary by Director/Producer and National Association of Social Workers member Lisa Cohen, is now available for 12-month streamlining rentals online.
Since we first interviewed Cohen, “Confessions of a Social Bully” has played in film festivals around the world, has been acquired by Seattle Public Schools for their 6th Grade F.L.A.S.H. (Family Life and Sexual Health) curriculum, and is the focus of bullying prevention workshops and educational talks led by Cohen.
About the film: “Confessions of a Social Bully” is an insightful journey into the mind of a middle school aggressor. Twenty-year old Natasha bravely reflects on how she used her popularity to socially “punish” her smart and talented classmate, Jane, while privately battling her own insecurities and jealousy of Jane’s successes.
