Movie to Watch: Monsieur Lazhar
Music Box Films invites social workers around the country to watch Monsieur Lazhar, an award-winning French Canadian film about a middle school class trying to cope with the suicide of a beloved teacher.
Substitute teacher Bachir Lazhar tries to help the class heal. However, the immigrant from Algeria is dealing with trauma of his own.
