Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin play ex-spouses who have an affair in "It's Complicated."

Meryl Streep is nominated for a Golden Globe Award for best actress in a comedy for her role in “It’s Complicated,” a film about a divorcee who has an affair with her ex-husband played by Alec Baldwin. This leads to our movie question:

Q: In your experience as a social worker is it unusual to see ex-spouses reuniting or having affairs with each other?

    I think it would depend on the circumstances. Not to give the movie away but it was clear these two people were missing what they were use to.
