I’ve Got a Farm and an Idea

Cheers to the Kennebec Journal in Maine for this article that mentions the good deed of social worker Jeffrey Johnson.

Johnson owns a farm adjacent to the Skowhegan Miracle Homeless Shelter. He will let shelter residents grow food and livestock on this land that they will use to feed themselves and sell at a farm stand.

“I said, ‘I’ve got this farm. I have this idea. What do you think?’ It kind of went from there,” Johnson said.
