Cheers to Virginia’s Fredericksburg.com for this article on social worker Natalie Newton, who recently won an Angels in Adoption award for her work helping families adopt.

Newton joins more than 190 other honorees from across the country. The award has been given to former First Lady Laura Bush, actors Jane Seymour and Bruce Willis, musician Steven Curtis Chapman and the family that inspired the movie “The Blind Side.”

“Natalie is so amazing,” said adoptive and foster parent Robin Hosmer, who along with her husband Paul nominated Newton for the award. “She truly has children’s best interests at heart. She will do everything possible for the children.”
