China, UNICEF Launch Child Research Center
China and Unicef have launched a China Children Social Work Research Center, according to this article from the Xinhua News Agency. The center will train social workers and develop native theories and practices, the article said.
China is facing new and challenging social problems affecting children, including single-parent families, left-behind children of migrant workers, and young people affected by HIV/AIDS.
