Kathy Boudin, a member of the left radical Weather Underground group who served 22 years in prison for murder and robbery, has been an adjunct professor at the Columbia University School of Social Work since 2008, according to a The Daily Caller article.

Boudin and other members of the group were involved in a violent $1.6 million Brinks armored truck robbery in New York that resulted in the murders of two police and a security guard. Boudin drove the getaway car.

Boudin was paroled in 2003 after serving the entire sentence in maximum security. The widow of one of the slain men said Boudin does not deserve any job.

Besides working for Columbia Boudin is also a Sheinberg Scholar-in-Residence at New York University’s School of Law.

“She doesn’t deserve anything, nothing at all. I think she should be back in an institution,” said Josephine Paige, 74, the widow of Peter Paige and mother of his three children.

Boudin lectures on the problems people released from prisons and their families face. Columbia School of Social Work Associate Dean Marianne Yoshioka said Boudin is an excellent teacher who gets incredible evaluations from students.
