Forensic social worker and National Association of Social Workers member Elton Louis, 74, died on June 20, according to this obituary in the Wausau Daily Herald in Wisconsin.

Louis was involved in the creation of Wausau’s Treatment Instead of Prison program. He was also a presenter at many National Association of Social Workers and National Organization of Forensic Social Worker workshops.
