Ethiopia Awards First Doctorate in Social Work
Ato Wassie Kebede recently became the first person to received a doctorate degree in social work in Ethiopia. Kebede successfully defended his research on adolescent social networks and sexual practices at Addis Ababa University. The university is trying to revive its school of social work after almost 30 years.
