VH1 Reality Show Contestant Mulling Social Work Career
Ashley Dupre, a former call-girl who was involved in the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal and now stars in the VH1 reality show “Famous Food,” says she wants to be a social worker, according to this VH1 blog.
“Right now I’m contemplating going back to school for helping kids – becoming a licensed clinical social worker. For me, it means something to me because of my history and what I’ve been through,” said Dupre, who is currently a sex advice columnist for the New York Post.
Dupre gained public attention when it was learned she was a call girl hired by former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer. She is now starring on “Famous Food” (Sundays, 10 p.m. Eastern) a reality series about minor celebrities who are trying to open a Hollywood restaurant.
