TV to Watch: “The Other City”

Today is World AIDS Days and a good day to watch the premiere of the Showtime documentary “The Other City.”

The film from director Susan Koch is about the impact of HIV and AIDS on the nation’s capital. It is estimated that three percent of Washington, D.C.’s population is infected with HIV/AIDS.

Koch said in a Washington Post interview that she hopes the film remove the stigma surrounding the virus, showing viewers that diverse range of people living with HIV/AIDS.
