Deb Lorenzo, ex-wife of Hip Hop mogul Irv Gotti, is raising her children and has earned a master’s degree in social work, according to this brief on MediaTakeOut.

The item did not say where Lorenzo earned her degree. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Irv Gotti, who was born Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr., is the head of The Inc Records label and has produced songs for artists such as Jay-Z, Ja Rule, and Vanessa Carlton.

His dysfunctional marriage to Deb and extramarital affairs were revealed in the VH1 reality series Gotti’s Way, which aired from 2007-09.

In this 2009 article in Essence Magazine Deb said the series helped her get clarity on her marriage and she was deciding whether to end it.

“Honestly, there’s nothing there between me and Irv,” she said. “That’s my buddy. That’s the only way I look at him now.”
