Social worker Tara Moser has two furry assistants who help her clients relax and become more willing to share their worries. They are her dogs Bode, a Great Dane mix, and Abbey, a Lemon Beagle.

The Fort Myers News-Press in Florida did an article on Moser, MSW, asking her how she incorporates the dogs into her work helping childrens, teens and families in crisis. Both dogs were adopted from shelters.

“They both came from bad situations, which the children can relate to,” said Moser, who is a National Association of Social Workers member.
