National Association of Social Workers member Sarah Brokaw, MSW, is the daughter of newscaster Tom Brokaw but was happy to live in Japan where nobody noticed her famous name.

Brokaw, who is a Beverly Hills therapist, said in this article in USA Today that she didn’t want to go to her 20th high school reunion because she wasn’t married and didn’t have children. “And then I realized I was being the biggest hypocrite,” said Brokaw, who coaches women on living better lives.

So she decided to practice what she preached and is now author of “Fortytude: Making the Next Decades the Best Years of Your Life —Through the 40s, 50s, and Beyond” (Voice, $23.99). You can read an excerpt of the book on the USA Today Website.
