Moms Should Make Room for Dads
Mothers want fathers involved in raising children but can discourage them by micromanaging how dads interact with their offspring, according to Marsha Kline Pruett, a professor at the Smith College School of Social Work. The New York Times interviewed Pruett for their story “Fathers Gain Respect From Experts (and Mothers).” Pruett co-authorized “Partnership Parenting” (Da Capo Press) with her husband child psychiatrist Dr. Kyle Pruett.
