The Kansas Supreme Court on Friday upheld the sentencing of Andrew Ramey Ellmaker, who was 17 years old in August 2004 when he stabbed social worker Teri Zenner to death while she visited his home. Read the full WIBW radio story by clicking here. Zenner was given a 50-year prison sentence.

More should be done for everyone to feel safe on their job. Since social workers frequently work with very vulnerable populations, safety on the job is likely an even more critical issue.
