C-Span Airing Congressional Black Caucus Forum on Race
The Congressional Black Caucus on Nov. 18 held a “Discussion on Race and Politics” at the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center. Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), CBC chairwoman and a social worker, moderated the event.
The forum examined the scientific, historic, legal and socio-cultural role of race in American society. Several National Association of Social Workers members attended.
It’s not too late to catch the forum. Click here to watch it on C-SPAN’s Web site.
