Behavioral Health Agency Donates $100,000 to Zimmerman Scholarship
The Community Partnership of Southern Arizona is donating $100,000 to set up a scholarship in honor of social worker Gabe Zimmerman, an aide to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords who was slain in a January mass shooting in Tucson.
According to this article on the Channel 9 KGUN Website, the regional behavioral health agency’s donation will go to the Arizona State University School of Social Work. Zimmerman earned a master’s degree from the school in 2006.
