In Memory: Ronald Noyalis

Social worker Ronald Noyalis of Dallas, Pa., died on January 10 from injuries sustained in a tree-cutting accident, according to this obituary in the Times Leader.

Noyalis, 64, MSW, LCSW served in the Air Force and earned a Vietnam Service Medal. He earned a master’s degree in social work from Marywood College and worked at the VA Medical Center in Scranton.

He transferred to the Scranton Veterans Center, where he worked for 29 years before retiring in 2007.

Noyalis is survived by his wife Christine and son Marc.
