New Jersey Surveys Homeless Population
Social workers and volunteers will fan out across New Jersey this week to estimate the state’s homeless population and provide homeless people with food, clothes, personal items and social services, according to this article on NorthJersey.com.
Experts estimate there are 14,000 homeless people in the Garden State, up from 13,000 in 2009.
