I caught the part of Kaleidoscope Cancer Awareness TV Special where Scott Hamilton made his first public return to the ice. He performed extraordinarily well. His performance along with those of Dorothy Hamill and Olivia Newton-John, I am sure, inspired many cancer survivors in the viewing audience to "Get Physical". :o)
Given the unfortunate prevalence of cancer sufferers in today's world, NASW's support of the Kaleidoscope Cancer Awareness TV Special makes perfect sense. Raising awareness of women's cancer issues, along with social workers being a part of multi-disciplinary treatment of cancer patients, is an important forumula for treating the "whole person", in a wide array of healthcare settings.

Help! I was supposed to tape the Kaleidoscope for Cancer Ice Show for my 83 year old mother who is a HUGE FAN of Dorothy Hamill and Scott Hamilton, etc., etc., etc. I completely forgot, not only me missing the show but also forgetting to tape it. YIKES!! Do you know if it will be broadcast again or if VHS tape are available to sale?

Sincerely,
Janet
