National Association of Social Workers member Richard Horigan Snooks, 69, died at his home in Columbia, Mo., on Sunday, according to this obituary in the St. Joseph News-Press.

Snooks earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri and was a practicing licensed clinical social worker for more than 20 years in Columbia. “He impacted many lives during those years,” the obituary said.

Snooks his survived by his wife Paddy, a son and daughter, five grandchildren and several stepchildren. Our sympathies to his family.
