Select Your Picks for the 2014 NASW Media Awards

Social workers have incredible stories to tell. Every day they help people from all walks of life find renewed hope and improve their opportunities.

Although most work behind the scenes with little recognition, professional social workers are increasingly showcased in the media with the help of reporters, columnists, bloggers and television producers, film and documentary writers and directors.

This year the National Association of Social Workers wants to again recognize media professionals who help raise awareness about social work and social work issues through its annual NASW Media Awards.

NASW invites you to vote for newspaper articles, columns, magazine stories, websites, blogs, radio segments, television news programs, network and cable TV shows, commercial films and documentaries and trade publications that  best portrayed the social work profession in 2013.

You can vote in one category, several categories or all categories. You can also cast more than one ballot, as long as you use a unique email address, which will not be released publicly or shared with other organizations.

Voting can be done throughout March, which is Social Work Month!
